As part of the Culture Road Festival, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, in collaboration with the Embassy of Korea and the Korean Cultural Center, organized a hanbok fashion show.”
The fashion show ‘Hanbok Engraved in Time’ attracted great attention, drawing interest from both the press and the public. The show, prepared with great dedication by designer You Si Eun and her team, featured hanbok designs from three historical periods. As the models walked the runway, each design was introduced with explanations about the historical era from which it drew inspiration.
The fashion show, held in the garden of the Ankara Ethnography Museum, was attended by Serdar Çam, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, and Yeondoo Jeong, the Ambassador of Korea.
Photo sessions with the models were held in the designated photo areas.
People of all ages eagerly lined up to take pictures.
In addition to women’s hanboks, men’s hanboks and their models also drew great attention.
Together with my friend from the K-Influencer team, Kübra Rendecioğlu, we had the chance to take a photo with designer You Si Eun.
