As in the past two years, the most striking section of this year’s World Food Fair was the “Korean Pavilion.
Many Korean companies participated in the fair, and the tasting sessions held at specific times attracted far more attention than expected.
In addition to traditional dishes, beverage and snack stands also drew great interest from visitors.
At the seafood stand, a tasting session of “abalone” was held.
At the seaweed stands, visitors sampled kimbap and various seaweed dishes. While some enjoyed the flavors, others commented that the strong taste of seaweed did not quite match their palate.
At the fair, which I attended with my friend, we had the chance to taste many Korean delicacies such as fish cake, seaweed, melon ice cream, abalone, tteokbokki, ramen, and pajeon. Among them, our favorite was the melon ice cream.
