[MISSION] From Seoul to Mumbai: This December, Fans Experience Korean Culture Through Jung Kook’s Exhibition.

The year ends with warm gratitude from all the Indian K-Culture enthusiasts, who got an immense opportunity to witness Korea and its creative expression. From local fan events to official events like K-Harmony (for cultural experience), K-Town (a Korean Music Festival with K-Idols performing in India), and Jung Kook’s Exhibition (a global cultural presence). This emphasizes the rise of the Hallyu wave.

Jung Kook's Exhibition:
On 12th December, 2025, Day 1 of the organized exhibition at Mehboob Studios, Bandra, Mumbai, India, with slots starting every 90 minutes. It is a one-month event starting from December 12th, 2025, to January 12th, 2026. The large posters of Jungkook’s Exhibition on the sidewalls of the entrance made the pathway colored in deep green. It appeared to give a similar vibe to the exhibitions/concerts that take place in Korea.

After a security check at the entrance, the individuals proceeded to the ticketing at the front desk, where they received an official photocard from the Golden Album of Jungkook. Moving further, they were guided to the 12 areas, each one displaying the record of the artist, Jungkook’s moments from his first solo album, Golden, from his performance pictures and videos in frames hung on walls, all the trophies he received, his outfits worn in MVs and Photoshoots. Even the two showcase rooms played his MVs, making fans enjoy the music.

The overall exhibition felt like a reflection of how the Korean music industry aspires to music, with all the artifacts that describe the Popular Culture of Korea.
Audience And Cultural Exchange:
Fans of diverse ages and backgrounds, from Mumbai and other parts of the city, attended the exhibition with full enthusiasm. Despite the language barrier, the fans sang along with the music playing in the background while they explored the vast areas. The informative boards in each section were written in English and the Korean Language.

The exhibition depicted a space of Jungkook’s dedication to his passion, music overwhelming fans, creating an exciting and motivating atmosphere. The Golden moments created were the shared admiration and love for the artist and the Korean artistry. Jungkook’s solo journey represents the music of modern times in Korean Culture. His journey has elevated K-pop beyond the fandom.
Reflection And Gratitude:
For all the Indian K-pop fans, the exhibition was meaningful, since it was the first official event of a member of the Korean boy band, BTS. After years of waiting, this moment made the fans realize the rising Korean cultural influence in the country. The impact was not only highlighted by Jungkook’s exhibition, but also by the Korean Festivals and events related to Korea and its culture.

The month of December warms the fans and their reflections on the events that took place across the year, filling their hearts with immense gratitude. The Solo album exhibition of Jungkook, the youngest member of the Korean boyband and HYBE, was set up in the most populous city of India, highlighting the rising popularity of BTS and Korean Culture. Fans showcasing their love for K-pop, K-drama, the Korean Language, and its Culture, while passionately participating in opportunities to experience, learn, and grow through them, only emphasize how Hallyu’s global journey has been successful in India. The mutual understanding and inspiration fostered an absolute love for music and art.
