The Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF) 2025 was successfully held from December 3–6, 2025, at COEX Hall C in Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea. Recognized as one of the world’s largest and most influential invention fairs, SIIF annually brings together innovators, research institutions, universities, and companies from around the globe. The event serves as a vibrant platform for presenting future-oriented technologies and fostering international collaboration in science, engineering, and creative innovation.

This year, the Republic of Korea once again welcomed participants from diverse backgrounds, each showcasing unique solutions to real-world challenges. Among the many remarkable inventions, Iran celebrated an outstanding achievement through Dr. Faranaksadat Solat, the inventor of the “Personalized Multimodal Shopping Assistant System Using Adaptive Hybrid Processing and Method Thereof.” Presented at Booth C-189, this invention attracted significant attention for its practical consumer impact and advanced AI-based design.

The system enables users to instantly interpret essential product information—such as pricing, expiration dates, and suitability—by utilizing multimodal data processing and lightweight hybrid reasoning. Visitors and evaluators highlighted the invention’s potential to enhance consumer safety and convenience, particularly in fast-paced retail environments.

A large number of representatives from various countries across Asia and Europe participated in the fair, with particularly active delegations from Taiwan, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia. In addition, many high school inventors from different nations also took part in the exhibition and received several Teen Prizes in recognition of their creativity and talent.
As a result of its innovation and social value, the project was awarded the Grand Prize, the highest honor presented by the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA).

The Grand Prize trophy and certificate were presented during the official award ceremony on December 5 at 5 p.m., emphasizing the invention’s excellence among numerous international entries.
The ceremony was attended by several distinguished figures, including Mr. Kim Shi Hyeong, President of the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA); Mr. Alireza Rastegar, President of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA); and Dr. Wiparat De-ong, Executive Director of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).

SIIF 2025 once again demonstrated Seoul’s role as a hub of global creativity and technological collaboration—highlighting how innovations like this can shape smarter and more consumer-friendly environments worldwide.
