Korean Cultural Center in Indonesia (KCCI) and the Publication Industry Promotion Agency of Korea hosted a 'K-book, Exploring Metaverse' exhibition at KOREA 360, Jakarta on October 11-13. The exhibition turned the KOREA 360's main atrium into a K-library where visitors could enjoy free access to a diverse selection of K-book, from magazines to translated novels. Besides that, it also featured K-experience like an AI photobooth, handmade craft competitions, a book concert, and a talk show.
The 578th Hangeul Day celebration was the main theme of the exhibition's first day (October 11). There was an information session about Hangeul, a quiz about Hangeul, and handmade craft competitions with Hangeul day-themed, like making a color card, Taegukgi keyrings, a pop-up card, and a traditional lamp.

On the second day of the exhibition (October 12), KCCI held a book concert and book signing session with novelist Sohn Won-pyung who was well known for her novel, "Tube" and "Almond".
The last day of the exhibition (October 13) was opened by a talk show with the "Tube" novel translator, Suci Angunisa Pratiwi, and followed by a mini book-making competition.
An AI photo booth was installed at the exhibition so visitors could imagine themselves traveling into the world of K-metaverse. Visitors could pick one of the four seasons' thematic backgrounds and the hanbok they want to wear in the photo. Later, they only pose like taking a self-portrait and the AI will configure it with the selected background and hanbok. A QR code containing a link to download the AI-make photo will be issued to each person.
