From 5 to 7 November, the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw hosted K-Content Expo Poland 2025 organized by KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency) and the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism with the help of the Korean Culture Center in Warsaw. The three-day connected Korean companies from gaming, TV or animation industry with Polish and other regional partners offering business meetings and consultations. The Expo also marked the opening of KOCCA Poland, the first office in Central Europe which will support cooperation between Korea and regional companies.

The highlight of this event was the Special Drama OST Concert with K-Stars which blended live performances with talk show format. The concert featured musical actor - Kim Juwang, actor - Shin Seungho and singer - K.Will. The event drew a large, excited audience who had a chance to win autographed gifts from the stars during the concert. Kim Juwang impressed with his vocal range, dynamic stage presence and sense of humor. Shin Seungho brought charm and charisma to the stage with performing the song “This Ain't It” by John Park and engaging interview with the MC while K.Will delivered emotional performances with his biggest hit songs - from OST to his solo pieces that left the crowd mesmerized.

Before the concert I had the privilege of speaking with Kim Juwang who shared his excitement about performing in Poland. When asked about how he felt about performing in Europe he said:
“I feel very excited and really looking forward to it. Personally, I have fans in Europe - Polish or French fans - quite a lot of them actually. They've given me lots of support, so I feel really good.”
He revealed that his first experiences in Europe were actually related to sports, not music:
“When I was young, I toured Europe as a Taekwondo athlete. I competed in places like Spain, France - Paris and Lyon. Coming to Poland now feels really interesting. European people have such passion, a burning heart - and I really love that. I've been very happy here and feel lucky.”

We also talked about his music - Kim Juwang highlighted “Paint the Galaxy” as his favorite track:
“In most breakups, around 90% end up badly with regrets. But when you've truly loved someone sincerely, it becomes a more mature kind of love. This song is about mature love - letting someone go but wishing them well. That kind of feeling.”
He also reflected on his musical career and the roles that left the biggest impression on him:
"A musical I feel the most attached to… I'd say “Love in the Rain”. But since we are in Europe, I'd also mention “Napoleon”. I played the role of Anton, a general, and I had much fun learning the history behind this musical. I'll also choose “Gone with the Wind”, a very famous production. I played a character who sang about hope and peace. To portray him I had to lose a lot of weight - I performed shirtless and there's even a YouTube video of it. I prepared for it by running along the Han River while practicing the songs”.

We also talked about his experience in Warsaw and his love for running:
“Running in Poland was amazing. The streets are wide and nature is beautiful. While running I felt genuinely happy and even wanted to try running 100 km here. I will run around 50 km in Warsaw, I want to take as many sights as possible before leaving”.
Finally, I asked which Korean musical he would recommend to Polish audience:
“Something uniquely Korean, like “Sejong, 1446” - musical about King Sejong who created the Korean alphabet. I played the royal guard protecting King Sejong. I think the Polish audience would really enjoy it, and I would love to meet them again during the performance.”

K-Content Expo Poland 2025 successfully combined business, culture and entertainment and demonstrated Poland's growing role as a regional hub for Korean creative content. The enthusiastic response from the audience who are hoping for next events like Expo and cooperation between industry professionals started a new stage of Poland - Korea collaboration.
