The 3rd edition of the Korea Street Fair was held from 14-16 November 2025 at Worldmark, Aerocity, New Delhi. Jointly organised by the Korea Youth Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KYCI), India Biz Solution (IBS), Asian Community News (ACN), and supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in India, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Korea Small and Medium Business Corporation (KOSME), the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO), and the Korean Cultural Centre in India (KCCI), the event brought together culture, commerce, and community.
With the theme "Walk Seoul, Live Korea", the fair reimagined eight bustling areas of Seoul, amalgamating music, food, beauty, and lifestyle products for visitors in India. The fair warmly welcomed visitors to an evening of K-experiences, illuminated by red-and-blue cheongsachorong lanterns that cast a festive glow over the venue. I visited the fair on its opening day.
A symbolic gateway to Korea, Gwanghwamun Street marked the entrance with stalls such as Emart24 —one of Korea’s largest convenience store chains, along with Paldo, Orion, Lotte, and more. K-Webtoons and Manhwa made their first appearance at an official event in India through Crossed Hearts, a company bringing East Asian comics to the world. The KTO India stall featured interactive games like Spin the Wheel and unique Hanok-style backgrounds to take photos.

Hongdae Street featured the fair's main stage. His Excellency Lee Seong Ho, Korea's Ambassador to India, addressed the audience along with Kim Jin Bum, President, Korean Youth Commerce Association, India, and Euy Don Park, Vice President, Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In his speech, H.E. Lee Seong Ho highlighted the importance of Indo-Korea friendship, hoping that the fair will not only be a cultural experience for the visitors but also act as a bridge to further India-Korea trade relations. Recreating Hongdae’s vibrant spirit in Seoul, the stage came alive with performances, including a traditional Samulnori showcase by KCCI’s official team and an energetic K-pop performance by Eternals, a popular Delhi-based dance group.

Seongsu and Myeong-dong Streets featured a range of K-beauty and fashion products. The K-Beauty Makeover Zone, featuring live influencer talks, beauty tips, and make-over sessions, drew in large crowds. Fashion enthusiasts could purchase K-Street style accessories, bags, and lifestyle products from Korean and Indian brands alike. Hanbok experience zones, K-pop merchandise, and K-snacks added charm and variety. The Han River Picnic Zone provided VIP spaces where K-culture enthusiasts, creators, and business representatives could engage in meetings and networking.

Known as Seoul's business hub, the Gangnam/Coex street featured stalls from organisations such as KOTRA, KOSME, Shinhan Bank, Fair Trade, and Yatra.com. This zone offered a collaborative space for entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and trade professionals to interact and explore new business avenues, strengthening Indo-Korea trade relations. In an exclusive interaction, Mr. Mohit Bhatnagar, Assistant Vice President, Yatra Franchise, and Mr. Vivek Jha, Product Manager, Outbound Product, explained Korea’s appeal as a tourist destination for Indians. They highlighted the country’s dynamic experiences, modern aesthetics, and cultural richness.

A dedicated zone for Korean food, beverages, and games highlighted the growing popularity of Korean food amongst youth. Insadong Street and Gwangjang Market offered a variety of Korean Street foods from spicy ramyun to hot mandu, tteobokki, kimbap, and corn dogs. Boba tea, herbal infusions, and soju added to the festive spirit. Traditional games like Yut, Ddakji, and Lucky Coin engaged visitors while the now-popular Dalgona Candy Challenge from Squid Game was enjoyed by young and old alike.

The fair is fast becoming one of India's largest Hallyu hubs, celebrating Korea's dynamic culture and bringing a slice of Seoul to Delhi. Featuring over 50 brands ranging from small businesses to major corporations, the fair marked a weekend of great significance for Indo-Korea culture and trade relations.
