In Celebration of 63 Years of Iran–Korea Cooperation: A Memorable Calligraphy Exhibition
2025-11-08On October 23rd, in honor of the 63rd anniversary of diplomatic cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Korea, a remarkable calligraphy exhibition was held at the residence of the Korean Ambassador in Tehran. We were honored to be invited to this cultural gathering, which brought together artists, diplomats, and guests in an atmosphere of friendship and shared heritage.

The exhibition featured a diverse collection of Iranian and Korean calligraphy works, showcasing the artistic dialogue between the two nations. The central theme of the event was family—a value cherished deeply in both cultures. Each piece on display reflected elements of love, connection, tradition, and unity, reminding us of the cultural ties that transcend borders.

The gallery was filled with rich artistic expressions, combining centuries of Iranian calligraphic tradition with the elegance and minimalism characteristic of Korean script. This unique blend created a visual and emotional bridge between the two countries, allowing the audience to appreciate both cultural differences and similarities.
Distinguished Korean calligraphy masters were also present, graciously creating personalized artwork for the guests. Many of us had the opportunity to request names, phrases, or meaningful words, which were beautifully written in traditional Korean script—a special souvenir to remember this occasion.

The event truly became an unforgettable day for everyone in attendance. Beyond the art itself, the exhibition symbolized friendship, mutual respect, and the growing cultural cooperation between Iran and Korea. Such initiatives remind us that art has the power not only to inspire, but also to unite people from different backgrounds.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Korean Ambassador for hosting this memorable cultural celebration and for his continued efforts in strengthening the relationship between the two nations. It was a privilege for us to participate, and we look forward to future collaborations that deepen this longstanding connection.
