The Korean skincare brand Dr.Jart+ hosted a private beauty and cultural event on October 23 titled “Glow Trip to Seoul” at Piree in Piraeus, Greece, inviting guests to experience the essence of Korean skincare. The event aimed to share the philosophy and innovation behind Korean skincare through interactive zones, hands-on activities, as well as live performances inspired by Seoul’s vibrant culture.
Invitations to the event were partly distributed through a giveaway organized by Greece’s leading online pharmacy, “Ofarmakopoiosmou.gr”, which offered lucky winners, including myself, the opportunity to attend this unique celebration of Korean beauty and creativity.

From the moment guests stepped inside, the atmosphere reflected Seoul’s energetic charm. The venue’s modern industrial aesthetic was bathed in hues of pink, blue and green and infused with design elements reminiscent of Korea’s trendy districts. The night brought together beauty enthusiasts, influencers and professionals from the skincare and marketing industries. The evening’s dress code, “K-Glow Chic”, encouraged everyone to embrace the essence of both Korean minimalism and luminous beauty.

The space was divided into themed areas showcasing the brand’s signatures skincare lines: Cicapair, Cryo Rubber, Ceramidin and Vital Hydra. Additional sections such as the Photobooth Corner, Bar Station and Beauty Station offered engaging experiences, from skincare consultations and games to Korean snacks and drinks, creating a lively and immersive atmosphere.

A major highlight of the evening was a dynamic performance by Mikay, often reffered to as the Greek K-pop star. Supported by dancers from the award-winning K-pop dance crew “Adore Us”, Mikay offered a captivating mix of Korean, Greek and English songs that embodied the fusion of cultures. The performance not only entertained but also symbolized how music and skincare share the same foundation of creativity, precision and expression, values deeply rooted in Korea culture.

Undoubtedly, in a country like Greece, long admired for its ancient and timeless ideals of harmony and beauty, K-beauty’s holistic philosophy of balance and rejuvenation feels naturally aligned. “Glow Trip to Seoul” showcased how Korea’s global influence extends far beyond skincare, inviting audiences everywhere to experience the glow of connection. Such initiatives highlight how Korean aesthetics are not just being consumed abroad—they are being understood, celebrated and adapted across different cultures.
