The youth is the asset of any nation. Young people are the future adults who will run the country. The growth and development of a country depends on their hands. Youth Expo provides exhibitions, resources, workshops and opportunities to the teenagers to guide them in choosing their career path, ultimately which will help the growth of the country.
"To embrace the history and open the way of the future for the youth" is the theme of the 2025 Korea Youth Expo. Korea annually holds Youth Expo in May to celebrate youth month and to engage the youths of the country. The 21st Youth Expo, hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in collaboration with Andong city, will be held at Andong International Convention Centre located in Dosan-myeon, Andong, Korea, from May 22 to May 24.
Mentors will give special lectures to the teens in the event. On May 22, popular YouTube content creator Kim So Jung, renowned among youngsters, will give a lecture about her journey as a creator and the importance of taking up challenges in life to succeed. It will be helpful and give perspective to the teenagers who are unaware of their future. Additionally, on 23 May, a special lecture from Lee Seon Ho, a science communicator, will give the teenagers scientific solutions in an easier way to choose their careers in this modern era. Not only the students, but it will also help the parents to understand their children better. A lecture from Park Semi, a comedian in Korea will share her journey as a creator and the way she achieved her dream which will help the teenagers in every aspect.
Along with that, on 23rd May, Food and Drug Administration organized a 45-minute educational musical called "Black Hole". This musical with a detailed and informative storyline will raise awareness among teenagers and teach them the importance of healthy living.

On the same day, Gyeongbuk Happiness Foundation and Youth Centre organized hip hop dance competition. Anyone born in 2000 or younger can participate. Mini, Yoonji and Popbong are the judges in this competition. This competition will bring young talents into the spotlight.
Moreover, world confusion cultural exhibition, Gyeongsangbuk-do Youth Festival, Korea Youth Debate, Gyeongbuk Youth Hope Talk Concert are some of the highlights of the event.
2025 Korea Youth Expo not only focuses on the cultural events but it also has experience programs that give the teens a chance to explore more activities, like creative arts, andong nuri, mental health program etc.
In the end we can say that Youth Expo is a great way to bring together talented youngsters, educators and leaders to open the doors of a well-educated and developed nation.
