Subsequently, it was translated into over 10 languages and published in numerous countries, including Vietnam. At the event, author Cho Chang In expressed his deep emotion and pride in the enduring popularity of his work for 25 years.

He expressed his gratitude to the Vietnamese translator and Nha Nam Bookstore for faithfully conveying the soul of the work to Vietnamese readers. Over the years, the book has consistently remained a bestseller on Nha Nam Bookstore's shelves.
He expressed his deep love for Vietnam, emphasizing that his affection extends beyond what readers perceive. He often spends extended periods in Vietnam seeking inspiration. He mentioned "Jeong," a Korean concept of deep emotional connection, and noted its similarity to Vietnamese culture. Recently, he visited Phu Quy Island and is currently residing in Vung Tau until April, where he is writing his new book. The event also offered a sneak peek into the highly anticipated sequel to "The Stickleback." Author Cho Chang In revealed that reader curiosity and fan-written sequels prompted him to continue the story. Additionally, observing his son's growth, who is the same age as the character Daum, led him to ponder Daum's journey of growth. The sequel is currently being translated and is expected to be released soon.
