Can you take us back to the beginning of your acting journey? What was it that first drew you to acting, and what concrete steps did you take to turn that interest into a career?
My passion for acting started with watching Korean dramas like IRIS and Athena: Goddess of War. I was captivated by their unique stories and the performances of actors like Lee Byung-Hun, Cha Seung-Won, and Lee Ji-Ah. I became fascinated by the power of acting to evoke emotions without words. I wanted to create that same connection with an audience, to make them feel what I felt. This curiosity drove me to pursue acting, taking lessons and honing my craft. I was determined to understand how a drama could move me so deeply and how I could, in turn, move others.

Despite having no industry connections, I pursued my passion relentlessly. I attended workshops, classes, and contacted agencies, even though I faced many rejections. I never gave up because acting is something I truly love and want to do for life. The journey itself and the process of developing my skills are what keep me motivated.
What were some of the hurdles you encountered in those early stages, and what strategies or support systems helped you navigate them?
I faced a lot of hurdles. So many, that I stopped counting them. It just became part of the process for me. Despite this, I just kept the mentality that if I just keep progressing or trying, even each day, gradually, the next day may get easier, and easier… and slowly, I was fortunate to do some roles and gain further experiences on set. Of course, I faced many difficulties along the way like scams, discrimination, and things which seemed very unfair. But despite this, I just saw it as part of the process. If I didn’t take those chances, I would never learn or grow anyway.

What was your initial reaction when you were offered the role in RM's music video?
Absolutely, extremely surprised! I was ‘Lost’ for words (fun intended). It was a delightful moment, one which I will look back and remember forever. I remember clarifying the details again with my agent and team. I feel I truly got lucky to be a part of such a lovely project. I was going through a very difficult time in 2023, so when I received the good news that I was offered this role, this moment was very meaningful to me in my life. It came to me definitely at the Right Place, right time. I will always treasure these moments and experiences.

The video for "LOST!" is visually stunning. Can you share any memorable moments from the filming process and working with RM?
It’s so visually beautiful! There are so many moments that I loved and remember so well! My favourite scene was towards the end of the Music Video, where RM is climbing above everyone and rising up through the top of the TV Show Desk. I was so amazed how the team and crew managed to build the materials ready for that scene so quickly, but also the creative inspiration behind it. We were also connected with wires for safety, given the height of the platform.

There was also a time where I felt connected to hearing the LOST! The track continues to play after a take ended on set. I remember hearing it and feeling the vibe, turning to RM and expressing something along the lines of “wow, damn, that was quite nice”.
There are so many memorable moments from being part of this wonderful project. LOST! means so much to be an actor and human being, And I think the Music Video has many metaphors and “easter eggs” such as the Korean Hangul written on the TV Hosts Mugs, and that each character represents a particular personality trait (such as ‘Jaded’ or ‘overconfident’). There is so much thought and consideration that has gone into this project that you have to give its due respect and artistic appreciation. An artistic masterpiece.
Can you share with us how you initially became involved in this project with RM from BTS? And how has the experience of working on such a high-profile music video impacted your career?"
My UK agent emailed me about an audition for a "Major KPOP Artist MV." After two auditions, I got the part and learned I'd be working with RM. This project, "LOST!", significantly boosted my career. I've received international offers, connected with agents worldwide, and attended industry events like the CJ ENM party at the Busan Film Festival. I'm even preparing for a Korean co-production film where I'll speak Korean, filming late 2025. "LOST!" also led to fan meetings in several countries, thanks to the amazing support from the ARMYs. I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity and how it changed my life. I feel like RM's support was pivotal, like an "Eminem-Dre" moment, and I hope to give back to everyone who has supported me.

As an actor of Indian origin, what does it mean to you to be part of such a globally recognized project?
I'm honored and grateful for this opportunity, which is very meaningful to me. My love for Korean culture started over ten years ago, and I believe in the beauty of cultural exchange and connection. This project allowed me to express that love, and I hope it inspires others to pursue their passions, whatever they may be. I'm deeply thankful to RM and everyone involved for this treasured experience. Thank you.
What's next for you in your career? Any upcoming projects you can share with us?
As for upcoming Korean projects, though I can’t say yet, hopefully you may see me in something exciting surprisingly soon! I’m looking forward to a Korean co-production film beginning in late 2025. I’m passionate in also focusing further on the Korean entertainment industry.
What are your dreams and aspirations?
I dream of contributing more to Korean entertainment, sharing my love, and always doing my best. I hope to make everyone who supports me proud as we continue this journey together.
I hope my story inspires kindness, pursuing meaningful goals, and approaching life with a smile. Thank you, Kim Nam-joon, Aube Perrie, San Yawn, Lee Joo-sang, the cast and crew, and everyone involved. This unforgettable moment is all thanks to you. Thank you.
