In end of October, the official site announce the winning works of Talk Talk Korea 2024 winners from around 60,000 entries. I was one of the participant for the photobook categories, eventhough i didn’t win the contest, as K-enthuasiast I’m glad i can be part of the event .
This year in early 2025, I visited the exhibition dubbed “Talk Talk Korea winner’s exhibition in Indonesia” at Lotte Shopping Avenue, Jakarta. The event held from 30 December to 31 January 2025. I was really happy to be able to see all winner’s beautiful works that shows their loves to Korea.
The exhibition displayed poster of all the five winners in photobook category including first winner photobook made by Daniela Kranz Moreira from Brazil where she shared her experience through photos while she was in Korea. Her note on the photobook was “Every journey is a chance to learn something new abot ourselves and the world around us”.
There was also a special area in the exhibition that displayed all top 5 winners of promotional video and motion graphic categories. In this area we can sit in the colourful cubical and watch all their works on the TV. The motion graphic first winner create an animation about a little boy exploring Korean culture, I really enjoy the video the animation. It was really beautiful to watched and at the same time it educate us more about Korean culture.
Another interesting video I watched was from the first winner from Nigeria in promotional video category, The winner dance and enjoy Korean culture along with friends. I love the video very much, it’s so interesing to see how Korean culture has affected Nigerian in many positive ways.
The exhibition also displayed categories Art and Crafts and Meme trend's winners. All are very interesting and entertaining to watched. Overall, I enjoyed my experience explore all winning piece that showcase the diverse aspect of Korean culture at the Talk Talk Korea winner’s exhibition in Indonesia.
