On 27 May 2025, the Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCC Indonesia) held a public discussion entitled "Menemukan Budaya Jeju Lewat When Life Gives You Tangerine." This activity was held at the Main Lobby of the KCC Indonesia Office. This picture captures the opening session of the activity by KCC Indonesia staff.
Participants had quizzes about typical objects of Jeju Island. In this picture, participants were discussing the minimalist wooden fences typical of settlements on Jeju Island, namely jeongnang [정낭]. The simplicity of the design reflects the socio-cultural aspects of the community there which are fostered based on the principle of mutual trust.
In this picture, the participants were explained about canola flowers / yu-chae-kkot [유채꽃]. This charming yellow color appears on the drama's cover and features on many scenes in it.
At the end, the participants took pictures with KCC Indonesia staff while holding oranges. During the activity, the participants were provided with oranges, honey water, seat mats and tables by KCC Indonesia.
