En la ciudad de Bogotá se realizó un desfile como muestra tradicional de los Hanboks; los días jueves 10 y viernes 11 de octubre en el evento realizado en Corferias denominado Salón del Ocio y la Fantasía SOFA en el pabellón numero 4 donde se rinde homenaje a las culturas orientales, Hallyu Colombia y el Centro Cultural Coreano Urimuri se unieron para poder desarrollar en la jornada de la tarde una muestra para todo el publico asistente, donde dieron un espectáculo desde lo antiguo hacia lo moderno de manera cautivante para ofrecer un espectaculo donde el elemento principal fue este vestuario tradicional en Corea.

Iguamente en los pasillos del pabellón 4 se cuenta con una exposición donde se exponen diversos Hanboks entre ellos algunos inspirados en Colombia; donde el publico pudo observar los detalles en sus diversas presentaciones entre ellos se encuentra uno realizado por la diseñadora Alejandra Camacho que hace parte de Hallyu Boyacá, donde se inspira en la danza denominada garabato del Carnaval de Barranquilla, el cual se puede apreciar en su muestra de Hanbok moderno corto.

Durante el desfile se pudo ofrecer una diversidad y evolución de los Hanbok y como son utilizados tanto por mujeres como los hombres; por ejemplo usualmente las mujeres en su vestuario es compuesto por la falda ( chima ) y la chaqueta ( jeogori ) mientras que el pantalón ( baji ) junto al jeogori en diferente estilo son utilizadas por los hombres.

Estas presentaciones y exposiciones ofrecieron al publico un acercamiento a la historia de Corea por medio de los Hanbok; el cual desde sus inicios en la dinastia Joseon, donde nos permitio contemplar como estos fueron utilizados para ceremonias y ocasiones formales mientras que los colores tambien identificaban ciertas posiciones sociales y edades a lo largo de la historia.
En la actualidad este vestuario tradicional es utilizado en Corea en ocasiones especiales como el año nuevo lunar, ‘Seollal’, el festival de la cosecha, ‘Chuseok’ o bodas y los visitantes al pais cuentan con la oportunidad de probar estas prendas en los lugares historicos y populares.
