The image is taken at Salem College Dining Hall. Located in what most people refer to as “nicer parts of Winston Salem“, the college does not have a single Korean student at the moment. However, Korean food has been added to the menu as it is a favorite of many students here. It is exciting how food and culture spread across places even without a native. Truly, Korean food has its own soul and identity. It won’t be wrong to call it a representative of its home, South Korea.
